"Spring Awakening" Opens in Manila

The 2007 Tony Awards Best Musical, "Spring Awakening" will be staged in Manila this October. "Spring Awakening" is based on a play written by German playwright Frank Wedekind in 1891. The story evolves around teenagers Melchior and Wendla discovering first great love. The play was banned for 100 years because of the controversial scenes involving teenage sex and suicide.

Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik revived the story in 2006 when they premiered on Broadway. In 2007, "Spring Awakening" bagged 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Tickets are now available at Ticketworld.

I already know the cast but I'm not sure if I can share it. ;)

American Idol 8 - Top 4 Performances

Hi! I'm in New York and I missed "Idol" again.

I'm so outdated. I haven't seen the season finale of "Heroes" and "Prison Break", 2-3 episodes of "One Tree Hill" and "Gossip Girl" and episodes seven to the most recent one of "Make Me a Supermodel."

Anyway, I'm catching up on "American Idol" so I'm watching their performances. And I think Adam is the only one safe this week since he's a rocker from the day he sang the alphabet. Allison was good, great vocals according to Simon. Kris gave a safe performance. And the worst was Danny Gokey. You're not a rocker, Danny. Yes you tried but that ending was a mess!

American Idol 8 - Top 7 Results

They're now down to seven and the save is still unused. Or is it?

The performance night was remarkable for me maybe because I like most of the songs they picked (though I don't know Bette Midler's "The Rose.") It reminds me of my childhood days. :)

My picks for the bottom three were Danny, Lil and Matt. But I was wrong. Danny proved that he has supporters. Anoop was in the bottom three with Lil and Matt. So what went wrong with Anoop and Matt? They're good vocally but they don't have much fan base who are dedicated to keep them in the competition.

Jennifer Hudson returned and performed. Miley Cyrus performed. Then the announcement.

Anoop was safe. And the shocker: Lil was also safe.

Matt sang one last time. You can hear his eagerness to stay in the competition. He was flat in some parts but the audience seemed to be in unison. After he performed the crowed started to cheer, "Save! Save! Save! Save! Save!"

Simon said to Matt that he thinks he can't win the competition. Then he said, "Matt it's good news. You're safe."

Simon added that the contestants shouldn't be complacent since two will be eliminated next week. The theme: disco!

American Idol 8 - Top 7 Performance

It was one of the best nights so far this season. Idol contestants battled it out with movie theme songs.

Allison Iraheta started the night with Aerosmith's "Don't Wanna Miss A Thing." It suits her voice and range (though I'm kinda used to divas belting out the last note). It was just ok. (See video here.)

Anoop Desai showed another good vocal performance singing "Everything I Do", which is a classic 90s love theme. I remember hearing it over and over again when I was a kid... reminds me of my batang kalye days. (See video here.)

Adam Lambert gave another unbelievably fantastic and energetic performance of "Born To Be Wild." The audience was on their feet (including Paula as always).

Matt Giraud's version of "Have You Ever Really Love A Woman" was kinda like the same as Bryan Adams. And I agree with Randy that he bridge was a bit pitchy. Bottom 3 again, Matt? (See video here.)

Danny Gokey was nowhere to be found. He's MIA. He's in another planet. He's somewhere else. I don't know what happened to him. He went on stage with no glasses. He looks uncomfortable. He was flat in some parts of "Endless Love." He deserves to be in the bottom 3. I don't have a video of it. I think it's a waste of hard drive space.

Kris Allen rocked another mellow song. Rocked 'cos the audience were drooling at him. He sang the Oscar-winning song, "Falling Slowly." I love this song. It bested "Listen" and other 2 songs from "Dreamgirls" a few years ago. Going back to Idol... again, they loved his performance.

And finally, Lil Rounds just bought her ticket back home with another boring performance. She sang "The Rose." It was a waste of time so I did not dare downloading it. Simon said it was terrible. Oh well... I really feel bad about this. I liked her especially when she sang "Be Without You" pre-Top 13. But now, she was out-shined by the boys and even the youngest girl, Allison.

American Idol 8 - Top 8 Results

It's getting tougher every week. Another finalist packed his bag. The 23-year-old (an inspiration to many) Scott MacIntyre went home after a pitchy performance of "The Search Is Over."

MacIntyre was joined by Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai in the bottom three this week.

Later on, Desai was announced safe. Host Ryan Seacreat said, only 30,000 votes saved Desia from elimination. It was that close.

Judge Simon Cowell expressed his disappointment watching MacIntyre during the performance night. He said that there were more talented finalists left that's why they did not use the save.

Guest singers were Flo Rida and American Idol alum now country star, Kellie Picker who worked with Taylor Swift in a song.

Next week will be movie theme week with guests performances on elimination night from Miley Cyrus and Oscar-, Grammy-winner Jennifer Hudson.

American Idol 8 - Top 8 Performance

The remaining idols sang songs from they year they were born. Danny Gokey (b. 1980) started the show with "Stand By Me." It's a good song but I'm not buying the arrangement.

Kris Allen (b. 1985) sang "All She Wants To Do Is Dance." First, I don't know the song. Second, I got bored watching it. It was one of those performances that I can skip. But I like his voice. It's not that really impressive but he has charisma (hear the screaming fans?) and musicality that can be equated to selling records post-Idol.

Lil Round (b. 1984) is missing her charm. She was one of my favorites before Top 13 especially when she sang "Be Without You" by Mary J. Blige. Right now, she's picking songs that do not match with her voice. Simon called her performance a second- or third-rate Tina Turner wannabe performance after singing, "What's Love Got To Do With It."

The judges seemed to like Anoop Desai's (b. 1986) version of "True Colors." He received praises from the four. I can't wait for movie theme week! (Segue: Jai Ho!)

Scott MacIntyre (b. 1986) on the other hand had a not so good performance with "The Search Is Over." Oh! Hint! Hint!

Allison Iraheta (b. 1992), the youngest, sang "I Can't Make You Love Me" and the judges liked it. Randy added that she reminds him of Kelly Clarkson. Matt Giraud (b. 1985) was back in the game. He sang "Part-Time Lover." Simon said it was way-way better that last week's.

But the star of the night (crown please) was Adam Lambert (b. 1982). The spotlights were all-over that stage but shadowing his face. I liked that effect, btw. He sang "Mad World." (The last note was sharp then he corrected it... - forgivable.)

Surprisingly, Simon was on his feet clapping!

The nine remaining finalists picked their own iTunes best-seller songs for this week. Though most song choices were questioned by the judges.

Anoop Desia picked Usher's up-beat song, "Caught Up." The three judges liked it but Simon said it gave him a headache. Danny Gokey sang "What Hurts the Most" by Rascall Flatts. Cowell said that it was his best performance in the competition.

The 16-year-old finalist, Allison Iraheta sang No Doubt's "Don't Speak." The judges weren't buying it completely. Simon even criticized her funky outfit. Other finalists did well too like Adam Lambert who sang "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry. By the way, I didn't know that's a 33-year-old song! And it's still a relevant dance song.

The best performer this week was Kris Allen. He sang "Ain't No Sunshine" by Bill Withers. It sounded good me, to the judges and of course to the (screaming) fans.

During the results show, David Cook performed as well as Lady Gaga towards the end of the show. The shocker was when Allison stepped into the bottom three spot. I think she's good. It may not be a great performance but she's a good singer. And I'm just surprised that she doesn't have enough fan base to keep her out of the bottom three.

Anoop and Megan joined her. Allison was safe. Then Megan got the lowest number of votes. "I'm okay." she said after the announcement, hugged Anoop and smiled to the crowed.

Ryan then asked Simon if he's willing to use the save for Megan. Simon harshly said that he's okay for her to leave. I wish I could quote him verbatim since his words were really harsh. Megan still smiled and said, "I'm going home." to her baby.

Next week, they'll be singing songs from the year they were born.

Rihanna: Chirs Brown To Apologize on Oprah

R&B singer Rihanna is demanding his ex/boyfriend Chris Brown to be on Oprah show with her and apologize to Oprah for what happened last February the night before the Grammys.

Sources are saying that Oprah maintained a constant communication with Rihanna after begging the singer not to reconcile with Brown. On her show, Oprah discussed domestic violence and even warned Rihanna that Brown will hit her again.

Oprah still has to confirm if Brown will appear on her show and apologize.

"Tree Hill" Kicking Out Chad Murray

"I won't be back."

It's a straight forward statement of "One Tree Hill" lead Chad Michael Murray confirming rumors that his character Lucas Scott won't be in the seventh season of the series. Rumors were all over the net saying that Murray and co-star Hilarie Burton do not want to renew their contracts anymore.

A video of Murray uploaded on Youtube raised a lot of questions where he said jaw-dropping statements about the issue. It looks like it's the other way around. The show doesn't want him anymore(?!) Ouch.

"They're not bringing me back next year... because they want to save money. They don't want me. I'm not joking. This is actually the last scene we're shooting, right now." Murray said.

This now-deleted video which was also posted in E! Online is owned by Allee McLaurin.

Nearly a month ago, Burton who plays Murray's fiancée also posted a video on Southern Gothic Productions' blog. The video has a lot of gray areas. She did not confirm anything but it looks like her message was leaning towards leaving the show. (To OTH fans, sad... I know.)

For about a month now, Ellen Degeneres has been asking Oprah Winfrey to be the cover of O Magazine. She was very vocal about this dream, she even called this campaign, "O Yes I Can." She showed several covers of O Magazine where she put herself with Oprah on the cover.

One time she called called up Harpo but she was put on hold by an operator who refused to gave his name to Ellen (for security reasons). Days later Oprah sent a card to Ellen apologizing for what happened and gave cupcakes to everyone including the audience that day.

Now, this was a video on Ellen's Friday episode (March 20). (I was suppose to post this a couple of days ago but I had problems with my internet connection.) Oprah surprised Ellen with this big announcement!

So we now know that a three-page text message from a mystery woman triggered the whole drama episode on Rihanna's life. Police reports are saying that the text message came from Chris Brown's manager, Tina Davis. So why did she slap Chris after reading it? Well, it's like this. It was like a booty call (inviting him to have sex)!

Music icon, Francis Magalona died today after battling leukemia. He was 44.

He first announced the news on "Eatbulaga" last August 2008 and his death also announced at 12 noon today in the same show.

I remember I was six when I first heard his music. We had a dance number in school. Of course, the hit song then was "Mga Kababayan." I just can't believe that someone so young died of cancer. He poured out his heart and soul to the music industry and to his country. But this sickness was faced by a very brave man.

R&B singer, Chris Brown appeared in court and was charged with two counts of felony - one for the assault and another for the criminal threat against "Robyn F." a.k.a. Rihanna.

The couple reconciled less than three weeks after the alleged attack on the eve of Grammy Awards in February. Many big stars in Hollywood were surprised with Rihanna's decision. Fans are also questioning if Rihanna's still a good role model if she's back with her abuser.

Police reports said that the "brutal argument" started when Rihanna found a three-page text message from a woman in Brown's mobile phone. Brown later tried to push his girlfriend off of the car but the seat belt was still fastened. He then punched the 21-year-old singer at bit her ear while driving.

Police also added that Rihanna won't testify against his boyfriend.

Murry, Burton Not Continuing "One Tree Hill" 7

It's confirmed that CW shows are renewing for another season (also see The CW Source). "Smallville" will be on its ninth season and "Supernatural" will be on its fifth. Reports also confirmed that there's a seventh season for "One Tree Hill." However, rumors are all over the internet that the show will continue without the lead, Chad Michael Murray playing Lucas Scott. New reports are claiming that Hilarie Burton who plays Chad's fiancée, Peyton Sawyer won't be in the next season as well.

The issue about Murray was seconded by The CW Source saying that the actor's considering taking roles in movies after the show's sixth season. They have a poll asking the viewers if the show can go on without Murray. Of course, I voted, "No way. He’s the focal point of the show." As of today, that's 50% of the 6,746 who voted.

Rihanna And Chris Brown Reconciled

This is insane.

Rihanna and Chris Brown reconciled according to news reports. The couple stayed at Sean "Diddy" Combs' mansion in Miami, Florida where they picked up the pieces of the alleged fight after the pre-Grammy party last February 8.

Sometime this week, the "Umbrella" singer was found at a private home in Mexico without any visible bruises. (Good.) Reports added that Chris Brown called Rihanna on her 21st birthday. (What?!)

And Rihanna's father seems to be supporting her daughter in her decision, "win or lose."

So what went wrong again? Rumors surfaced days after incident that Rihanna gave Chris Brown herpes, a sexually transmitted disease. If Chris Brown was "reflective and saddened about what happened" and Rihanna's giving in to his most likely apologetic puppy eyes, is there any truth to the rumors? And what's the real reason behind their shut-up-and-drive physical fight? What happened to the 911 call -- a cry from help from someone named Robyn Fenty?

Maybe she's forgiving him for doing this to her.

I just can't wait to know the real reason.

So the Oscars is over and the movie industry is just about to start the year with big movies like "Wolverine" and "Angels and Demons", both on May. Harry Potter and Edward Cullen will be back on July and November, respectively (in two separate movies, of course... unless Cedric will resurrect). So there's so many movies to look forward to in the coming months.

On TV, American Idol's receiving mixed reviews with the addition of the new judge, Kara Dioguardi. Some people are good about the addition and the changes this season while others think that it was a big mistake. Still on May, we'll witness who among the thousands who auditioned will be named the 8th American Idol.

Maybe at this point you now have favorites and you'd be eying on their performance in the coming weeks, right? Of course, you'd be downloading MP3s of their performances. How? Torrent? Limewire? Or maybe iTunes? Are you kidding? Who'd want to pay if they're offering it for free? Once you've downloaded their performances you'd post it on YouTube (maybe) claiming that you were the first one to upload it or you have the official copy or you have the best HD copy... Soon, YouTube will find you and delete your video!

I uploaded a video of Josh Groban when he sang "Believe" on Oprah while Tom Hanks was promoting "The Polar Express." In less than a week, the video was deleted by Harpo. --__--

Yes! They are that fast!

You've been seeing deleted videos of amateur videos of vlogers who were using copyrighted materials like songs or footages. I think it's a general rule that we need to ask permission first before using their material as our content. But these rules aren't really clear, right? What are the procedures? And do they think the millions of YouTube users care if they're violating something or not?

It's not as elementary as the golden rule. Well, using other people's contents is relative to the golden rule. Ouch! Having said that, I'm now affixing the names of the owners of the images I'm using in this blog. Though I'm not sure if that's enough. I heard somewhere that as long as you're not earning from it (this being my blog), that's fine. Well, I just hope I'm on the right track or else you won't be reading anything after this post.

When it comes to images, if you edited an image of a celebrity and added your photo next to him/her, are you violating anything? Some people are saying that it's already a "new image" with the addition of your picture. But the basis of the "new image" is copyrighted. You may still be violating something.

Like this one: Shepard Fairey, a renowned illustrator in the United States, created this illustration of President Barak Obama during his campaign before becoming a president. He was sued by Associated Press saying he violated the AP copyright by using an AP photo of the president back in 2006.

So if I am vectoring James Dean just for fun and post it in this blog or post a tutorial on how to vector, chances are they can sue me. Damn! Who would want to vector celebrities if they can be sued for creating art? Now I'm having second thoughts on finishing this.

To end this supposedly short entry, I'm posting this video of a popular Asian on YouTube talking to the people who're responsible for deleting his videos. Apparently, he's been using copyrighted songs. This is funny!

The Oscar Goes To "Slumdog Millionaire"

Actor Hugh Jackman started the show with a medley honoring the movies competing for Best Picture (with special participation of Anne Hathaway). It was a fun and beautiful performance that introduced a new talent hosting the Academy Awards.

Because of poor ratings, the Academy did not have any press releases for the names of presenters this year. Normally, they would announce presenters' names one after another sometime in January. They've changed this strategy to make people watch "The Biggest Movie Event of the Year."

So what changed?

Usually the previous year's winner for Best Supporting Actress would present the winner for Best Supporting Actor of the year. And the previous year's winner for Best Supporting Actor would present the winner for Best Supporting Actress of the year. This also applies to Best Actor and Best Actress. This year, five past winners of an acting category walk on stage to honor the works of this year's nominees. It may be time-consuming but the picture of seeing them on stage was indescribable.

Last year's Best Supporting Actress, Tilda Swinton presented the award to Penélope Cruz who was emotional in briefly telling her background and the dream fulfilled.

Even if "Slumdog" was an early favorite for Best Picture, it was anybody's (in this case, any film's) game. If there's one category that was a case closed from the start, that would be for Best Supporting Actor. I found an article over the weekend that commented, "The idea that Heath Ledger won't win for 'The Dark Knight' is so unthinkable, I can only imagine mass walk-outs at the ceremony and riots breaking out across the country if it doesn't come to pass." I agree.

It was an emotional triumphant moment as Heath Ledger's family accepted the award from Best Supporting Actor. Kim Ledger, the actor's dad escorted her wife and daughter on the stage. Heath's sister was also emotional in celebration of his brother's well-loved career.

Jennifer Aniston was with Jack Black when they presented on stage the winner for Best Animated Feature, which was given to "Wall-E" (not my favorite, by the way). I just recalled that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were just meters away from the stage. They were in the front row! I want to feel the tension! Lol!

In other categories, "Slumdog Millionaire" took early Oscar wins for Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Mixing. Later in the show, A. R. Rahman won two (out of three) Oscars - Best Musical Score and Best Song for "Jai Ho" (the third nomination was for "O... Saya", Best Song). Over-all "Slumdog" took home eight Oscars (out of ten) including Best Picture.

The night was all about Kate Winslet ("The Reader") and Sean Penn ("Milk") who won Best Actress and Best Actor, respectively. Winslet who learned her lesson in the Golden Globes last month was still thrilled to accept the award but not as tongue-tied as before. In her case, sixth time's a charm. Since she couldn't see her dad, she asked her dad to whistle, which he did. Sean Penn took home his second Oscar leaving a strong message on equality among men.

Leaked Hoax-car Winners

A leaked list of Oscar winners is reportedly fake according to Academy officials.

The list was said to be given to Academy officials beforehand so that they know what will happen in the ceremony. Officials on the other hand said there's no such "a list" and that even the president of the Academy doesn't know the results until envelopes were opened on Monday, February 23 (PH +8).

They added that the ballots are still being counted and that only two people would know the final tally before the awards night.

In the now-fraud list, it claimed that the Best Actor and Best Actress trophies will be handed to Mickey Rourke and Kate Winslet, respectively; Penelope Cruz as Best Supporting Actress and Heath Ledger as Best Supporting Actor. Danny Boyle's also in the list as Best Director for "Slumdog Millionaire", which was claimed to be the Best Picture.

Honestly, it almost exactly picked my bets except for one. And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Amy Adams in "Doubt."

Chris Brown's Facebook - Now Down

The R&B singer's Facebook fan page is down (at least for now). Is this related to beating an unidentified woman who was later ID-ed as Robyn Fenty a.k.a. Rihanna?

Reports say that Rihanna confessed that they had an argument in the car. Rihanna took the car keys and threw it out of the car's window. Brown began shouting outside and when he found the keys, he threatened to kill her.

Rihanna then called the police and identified herself as Robyn Fenty. The 20-year-old R&B singer's full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty. Later it was revealed that she was the one injured by Chris Brown.

Now endorsements and radio stations in the US are starting to shut down Chris Brown. Rihanna on the other hand, postponed concerts in Malaysia and Indonesia. Fans of the "Umbrella" singer, are now posting their support in her Facebook fan page.

Also reports say that Chris Brown was spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas. Officials of the hotel did not confirm or deny.

The R&B couple Chris Brown and Rihanna attended the pre-Grammy party Saturday night. Then Chris Brown was reported arguing with an unidentified woman in a parked car, which ended violently. Brown was arrested for assault when the victim called the police and reported the incident.

Brown surrendered to a police station Sunday night. It was reported that he canceled his appearance and performance at the Grammys that night. His longtime girlfriend who's also scheduled to perform did not attend as well. People started to speculate that Rihanna could be the victim.

The 19-year-old Brown bailed himself after paying $50,000. Reports say that it was Rihanna who made the call that she was assaulted.

Now endorsements of Chris Brown was either suspended or put on hold after the incident. Wringley already released a statement about this big decision. Doublemint gum is also leaning towards dropping the "Run It" singer completely.

Rihanna was nominated for Best Dance Recording for "Disturbia", Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for "If I Never See Your Face Again" with Maroon 5 and Best Long Form Music Video for "Good Girl Gone Bad."

Chris Brown was also nominated at the Grammys. One is for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for "No Air" with Jordin Sparks and another for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "Take You Down."

Both did not get a Grammy Sunday night (PT).

Brown was named Artist of the Year by Billboard and American Music Awards last year. Rihanna is now singing "Take A Bow."

A rags to riches story of a wise guy from Mumbai, a jailed former Auschwitz guard and an aging lonely wrestler win top honors in BAFTAs 2009.

It was a home court win for Kate Winslet in "The Reader" as she received the Best Actress title from the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA). Danny Boyle's undisputed underdog story "Slumdog Millionaire" bagged Best Film. He also won Best Director for said the movie.

Former boxer, Mickey Rourke solidified his comeback to acting in "The Wrestler" after 15 years of drug abuse, which he jokingly admitted on stage. Last month he won Best Actor in the Golden Globes and now the BAFTA.

The late Heath Ledger was again honored after winning Best Supporting Actor in "The Dark Knight." Penélope Cruz in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" took home the Best Supporting Actress.

Overall, "Slumdog Millionaire" won seven BAFTAs. The movie is nominated in 10 categories including Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Picture at the 81st Academy Awards on February 23 (PH +8).

Danny Boyle Wins Directors Guild for "Slumdog"

"Slumdog Millionaire" scores another win at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards. Danny Boyle bested the works of David Fincher in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", Ron Howard in "Frost/Nixon", Gus Van Sant in "Milk" and Christopher Nolan in "The Dark Knight."

A DGA win is said to be a sure Oscar victory. Usually, if a director wins in DGA he almost always gets an Oscar. This is true since the awards started in 1948 except in six award seasons.

The most recent was in 2000 when Ang Lee won in DGA Awards for his work in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" but Steven Soderbergh won the Academy Award for "Traffic." In 2002, Rob Marshall took home the DGA Award for "Chicago" but the Oscar eneded up in the hands of Roman Polanski for "The Pianist."

So could this be Danny Boyle's year for an Oscar?

Two weeks ago, "Slumdog Millionaire" also won in the Producers Guild of America beating out the same movies nominated in DGA.

The movie is nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay in Writers Guild Awards which will be on February 8 (PH +8). Also nominated are "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "The Dark Knight", "Doubt" and "Frost/Nixon."

"Slumdog Millionaire" earned 10 nominations at the 81st Academy Awards despite protests in India. Some Indians were offended by the street word that is now attached to them -- "slumdog." According to them, they admit that they are from the slums. What they can't accept is to be called "dogs."

Oscar Awards is on Febrary 23 (PH +8).

"Slumdog Millionaire" is a step closer to an Oscar win after winning Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards Best Cast in a Motion Picture. The movie bested "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Doubt", "Frost/Nixon" and "Milk."

Sean Penn won Best Actor in "Milk" while Meryl Streep won Best Actress in "Doubt." Another recognition was presented to the late actor Heath Ledger who won Best Supporting Actor in "The Dark Knight." Kate Winslet also bagged a trophy winning Best Supporting Actress in "The Reader."

And in the TV Race, "Mad Men" and "30 Rock" won for Best Drama Series and Best Comedy Series respectively.

"Button" Leads Oscars with 13 Noms

As expected year after year, surprises were witnessed when the Oscar nominees were announced Thursday morning, January 22 (PT).

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" leads the Oscar race this year with 13 nominations including Best Picture and Best Actor for Brad Pitt.

Its contenders for Best Picture are "Frost/Nixon", "Milk", "The Reader" and "Slumdog Millionaire."

Pitt is up against Richard Jenkins in "The Visitor", Frank Langella in "Frost/Nixon", Sean Penn in "Milk" and Golden Globe winner Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler."

Unfortunately, Kate and Leo weren't nominated for their roles in "Revolutionary Road." The movie was also snubbed for Best Picture and Best Director for Kate's husband, Sam Mendez.

However, Winslet gets a nod in "The Reader" for Best Actress. Critics say that this could be her year for an Oscar win after receiving 5 nominations in the last 14 years since "Sense and Sensibility." Fellow nominees are Anne Hathaway in "Rachel Getting Married", Angelina Jolie in "Changeling", Melissa Leo in "Frozen River" and Meryl Streep in "Doubt."

After winning a posthumous Best Supporting Actor trophy in the Golden Globes last week, Heath Ledger is again in the Oscar shortlist of five. Up for an Oscar this year are Amy Adams in "Doubt" (won in "Junebug"), Penélope Cruz in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" (nominated in "Volver"), Viola Davis in "Doubt", Taraji P. Henson in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and Marisa Tomei in "The Wrestler" (won in "My Cousin Vinny").

Danny Boyle gets an Oscar nomination for his masterpiece "Slumdog Millionaire" that has inspired many underdogs. Also nominated are David Fincher in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", Ron Howard in "Frost/Nixon", Gus Van Sant in "Milk" and Stephen Daldry in "The Reader."

That's perhaps the question of director Christopher Nolan and the cast of the mega hit of 2008. It's an Oscar contender but after not being nominated at the Golden Globes and getting another blow at this years BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Awards), is there still a chance for it to get an Oscar nom for best picture?

"The Dark Knight" received nine nominations at this year's BAFTA but snubbed for Best Film and Best Director for Nolan. Heath Ledger again picks up a nomination for his role as the Joker.

Vying for Best Film are "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", "Frost/Nixon", "Milk", "The Reader" and "Slumdog Millionaire".

No "Ploning" In Oscar Shortlist

After months of fund raising locally and lobbying "Ploning" in North America, Philippines' official entry at the 81st Oscar Awards, did not make the cut.

The Academy released a shortlist of nine foreign language movies that will compete for the coveted nomination. "Waltz With Bashir" from Israel advances the Oscar race after winning the Golden Globe this week. "Bashir" is up against "Revanche" (Austria), "The Necessities of Life" (Canada), "The Class" (France), "The Baader Meinhof Complex" (Germany), "Departures" (Japan), "Tear This Heart Out" (Mexico), "Everlasting Moments" (Sweden), and "3 Monkeys" (Turkey).

The nominees will be announced on January 22.

I'm very much impressed on how people helped "Ploning." President Gloria Arroyo and Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) handed P2.5-million to support this endeavor. But I believe it was a bit late for them to promote it. They're still premiering it in North America (Jan. 8-19) considering that at this point the Academy's already releasing a shortlist like this. Plus, other foreign language movies joined several international film festivals to leave a mark in every region. "Ploning" only joined two (well that's according to this wikipage).

Judy Ann Santos, actress in the movie, already thanked everyone who helped them. ABS-CBN even has a TV special on Sunday, "Ang Pangarap Ni Ploning" documenting the efforts of the supporters of the movie. Well I think our time will come... (sad) but not this time.

'Slumdog' Triumphs With 4 Globes

It was a clean sweep for "Slumdog Millionaire" after winning 4 at the 66th Golden Globe Awards by the Hollywood Foreign Press.

It's an inspirational story of Jamal Malik, a call center assistant from the slums of Mumbai, India, who wins Rs. 20,000,000 in the reality game, "How Wants To Be A Millionaire." It won Best Picture - Drama, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Score.

Another big winner of the night was Kate Winslet who won Best Supporting Actress in "The Reader" and Best Actress - Drama in "Revolutionary Road."

The Best Actor - Drama title was given to Ricky Rourke in "The Wrestler" and the Best Actor - Comedy trophy was handed to Colin Farrell in "In Bruges." It could have been Meryl Streep's 7th Golden Globe (in "Mamma Mia!") but Sally Hawkins of "Happy-Go-Lucky" brings home the trophy for Best Actress - Comedy. "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" won Best Picture - Comedy.

A highlight of the night was when Heath Ledger wins a posthumous Golden Globe in "The Dark Knight." Director Chris Nolan received the award on Ledger's behalf. He said, Ledger "He will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten."

In the TV race, "30 Rock" rocked the night winning Best TV Actor - Comedy for Alec Baldwin, Best TV Actress - Comedy for Tina Fey and Best TV Series - Comedy.

"Mad Men" was the Best TV Series - Drama. Anna Paquin won Best TV Actress - Drama in "True Blood" while Gabriel Byrne in "In Treatment" won Best TV Actor - Drama.

Fortunately, the writers' strike is over. This means there's an award ceremony to look forward to come January.

So the nominees were announced last week. Many were snubbed like "Grey's Anatomy". Many were also disappointed when "The Dark Knight" wasn't nominated for Best Picture. At the end of the announcement of nominees, among the hopeful "Dark Knight" men only the late actor, Heath Ledger was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for bring to life the man named, The Joker in the Batman saga.

Ledger is up against Tom Cruise and Robert Downer Jr. in "Tropic Thunder" (people laughed when Tom Cruise was mentioned), Ralph Fiennes in "The Duchess" and Philip Seymour Hoffman in "Doubt".

Five men are competing for the Best Actor - Drama award. Leonardo Dicaprio in a reunion movie with Kate Winslet in "Revolutionary Road", Frank Langella in "Frost/Nixon", Sean Penn in "Milk", Brad Pitt who is receiving Oscar buzz in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler".

Anne Hathaway, the former "Princes Diaries" star earns her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress - Drama in "Rachel Getting Married". There's nothing much to say. As expected there were a lot of surprises with the list of nominees this year. Most of them are first timers but they can't disregard Grammy favorites like Coldplay, Kanye West and former Beatles member, Paul McCartney.

Nominees were announced in a live concert at the Nokia Theater. (Check out the ticket prices here.)

Rapper Lil Wayne tops the nomination list with eight. British band, Coldplay has seven nominations while Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West get six each.

Pop-classic singer, Josh Groban gets his second Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his Christmas album, Noel, which was the best-selling album of 2007.

I'm Disappointed With 'One Tree Hill' Writers

Season 6, Episode 11

I'm a big fan of One Tree Hill. But last two episodes irritated me.

As we were watching episode 11, I told myself that if I have a least favorite episode, this would be it. It was an episode written by Chad Michael Murray. I recognize his efforts in making a One Tree Hill plot set in late 1930s but over-all I think it's a waste of time.

So according to Chad, there's still Karen's Cafe in 1930s and Haley's (Bethany Joy Galeotti) the regular singer. Of course, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) is the owner, Skills (Antwon Tanner) is the pianist while Nathan (James Lafferty) is the bartender. Dan (Paul Johansson) is still the bad guy, manipulating girlfriends Peyton (Hilarie Burton), Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Haley. So that's the premise.

What's wrong about it? It consumed the whole episode and in the end it was just a dream of Lucas. I won't say it's forgettable because I'd remember it as a could-have-been-better episode if it were just a 10-minute dream sequence.

I thought sometime in between, the 1930s setting would end. But it didn't. I wish they trimmed it down to 10 minutes and then went on with the plot in the present. That would have been more entertaining, seeing what happened to Julian's (Austin Nichols) movie proposal with Lucas.

It's cheesy, it's predictable, it's boring, it's comical in a bad sense.

The dream sequence is so high school. I didn't expect that Mark Schwahn (creator) would allow something like it. A dream sequence!? Come on.

SIDE NOTE TO MARK: Bring back to the storyline Haley's family. Jamie is growing up and we haven't seen them in a long time. I just find it odd that Haley's not having any conversation with them, no email, no phone call whatsoever with her family. Enough with Peyton's hunt for family for a while. Develop Haley's storyline. Everyone else's families are open book but not Haley's.

Season 6, Episode 12

In Episode 12, they're back in 2008, which is a good news! Thank God! But still I think the writers need a break. They're over-complicating things. First, with the boring episode 11. Now in episode 12, a Millie (Lisa Goldstein) and Owen (Joe Manganiello) team up? What's up with that?!?

Broke's in hell right now after losing Clothes Over Bros, Baby Angie, Owen leaving, the attack at the store and another Owen issue... AND WITH MILLIE?!?!

Plus, the predictable sad story of Peyton having cancer... duh! But she's been through a lot. Learning that she's adopted, meeting her dying birth mother, meeting her wasted dad, meeting her biological brother, probably dropping Mia (Kate Vogele) in the record label and now... she could die?!?!

I think they should lessen the drama. Yes, these things could happen. It's possible but we need a breather. OTH is becoming heavy to watch, don't you think?

I hope the coming episodes (OTH will resume next year) will be way way better than this.

I had a silly yet funny encounter with this vendor in Cybermall. I heard from Jilly, that they're selling tasty lemon squares. I was intrigued so I went there to buy. Here's my conversation with the vendor:

Vendor: Ay sir, wala na po. Naubos na. (super sad tone)

Huwag Tangkilikin and Flower Express ng LBC

I ordered flowers as surprise birthday gift for a friend. I placed my order yesterday at around 6pm.

This morning, I received a text from a Flower Express associate, Jenny telling me that I submitted an incomplete address. Yes, I don't know the barangay name so I sent an email with a cropped image of a map I found online. They also asked me to clarify my billing address since I gave them my Eastwood address while I'm using my Paco address in my credit card.

Then I received another email from them asking me to submit an "authorization letter" that I'm using "his" credit card. So I think they were assuming that I'm not the cardholder. Attached to the email was a Word document that should be signed and faxed to them before 10am. I received the email at 10:03am.

I called them up again and they explained that the delay was because of the incomplete address. I questioned them why do they need supporting documents. Printing a document and having it faxed is an added step. What if the customer doesn't have a fax machine? Plus, they're also requiring a photocopy of front and back sides of your credit card. Isn't that insane!?

I canceled the order.

Back in March, I received a $50 gift card from Amazon.com because of this award... I've been thinking of what to purchase then I thought of buying three Spring Awakening-related items. Libre naman eh... the soundtrack, the book and the music sheets.

Before purchasing, I looked for a PSP game worth-buying but I changed my mind. Plus Amazon doesn't deliver PSP games to the Philippines. So I settled with the Spring Awakening items. I received a confirmation email saying I'll be receiving my stuff on November 8. Napaaga - 2 weeks earlier pa!

Two were found dead at Jennifer Hudson's mother's house in Chicago, Friday, October 24. Later on the victims were identified as the singer-actress' mother, Darnell Donerson and older brother, Jason Hudson. Reports say that there was no forced entry. Neighbors added that they heard the gunshot in the morning but the bodies were found when a relative came to the house later in the afternoon.

Authorities are looking for the Hudson's car, a 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban and a 7-year-old Julian King, Jennifer Hudson's nephew. William Balfour, who may have a relationship with Jennifer's sister is now under investigation with the police.

Jennifer was in Tampa, Florida when the murder happened. She's now on her way to Chicago.

Treadmill Stress Test

This afternoon, I went down to buy food but I ended up in Borough Medical for my Costochondritis (chest pain) check up. While waiting for the doctor I said to myself, "Hmm.. pa-sked na rin ako sa dentist." Himala, wala raw patient. Pwede daw ako magpa-cleaning ngayon. So nagpalinis ako.

After the unplanned appointment with the dentist, I went to see Dr. Garcia for my chest pain check up. He said, "Kailangan mag-treadmill ka kasabay ng ECG." Ok. Sounds good.

The nurse was assuming that I'll come back for the treadmill stress test but I said I can do it now. I didn't have extra clothes so he asked me to just remove my polo.

My BP was 130/90 before the test started. It was quick but I was exhausted after just 15 minutes. Breathing was not my problem. It was my legs that couldn't stand the intensity of the exercise (or couldn't stand my weight). Madali kasi akong pulikatin.

I'll come back on Thursday for the results. Ang tagal nga e!

Then They Rushed Me To The Hospital

After our father's birthday party, we went home to Paco. We ate our second serving of dinner and I had 2 glasses of cold Coke Light. Watta day! We went to our parents' bedroom to open the gifts. Then I played the video again and showed the pictures at the party.

When I was about to put the laptop in its bag, I suddenly felt this terrible pain in my chest. I thought it was another heartburn. I already complained then I went to the kitchen to get some water. I pressed on some pillow near the chest while telling them how painful it was. Then I was about to cry when Mama asked me, "Ano? Di mo kaya?" Then they rushed me to the hospital. I tried my very best to walk. It even crossed my mind that it could be heart attack.

My brother drove us to MCM in UN Avenue. On our way there, I was already screaming, perspiring... I think I lacked oxygen. When we arrived and someone opened the ER door I immediately looked for the nearest available bed. I always get that bed when there's an emergency. The doctors and nurses asked a number of questions on what happened, what did I do before I felt the pain, blah-blah-blah...

It was really terrible. It was an unexplainable pain -- worst that it made me cry for two hours! Dying actually crossed my mind. (Honestly) 0_o It felt like someone stabbed me from the inside.

The doctors gave me two pain killers placed under my tongue. I asked for water but they refused to let me drink to avoid the water getting into my lungs. This was the time when I defined the word, tiis. I had no choice. I was already in the hospital. The remedy was there but I really had to wait for something to happen before they could take another step.

This was the time when I asked my sister to tell my boss that I couldn't make it to the team building. "Gusto niyong i-admit na lang po natin?" the doctor asked my mother. I conditioned myself that I'll be staying here for the weekend. I was still afraid of the worst case scenario -- an operation.

Minutes after that they did the first of two ECG tests. I was still screaming and complaining about the pain. My parents were beside me praying. Then they injected another pain killer. Somehow it helped. But I could still feel the pain. Then I had this huge long burp. I had my chest x-rayed. At that time, I was feeling quite ok. When I was brought back to the ER the pain was back again. I kept on rolling over the bed finding the best position.

Then it went away. The doctor said it was costochondritis plus gerd. Basically it was pain in my right rib cage. I'm not the best person to explain the condition. Just refer to the link.

(Sigh)

I'm very happy that it was just costochondritis-whatever-gerd. I learned that at some point in our lives we will encounter pain (per se). And that we don't have much of a choice but to deal with it and survive. It may be minor but the experience was major.

Still Embarrassed at 24

I went to the salon last night. I've been planning to have a new hairstyle different from what I had back in college. But again my haircut was too short. Now I'm wearing this hoody because I'm ashamed to let them see it.

I grew up being embarrassed with what I have on top of my head. It's a wound I got since I was a baby. It's origin is still unclear to me. According to my parents, the doctor accidentally did something to it. Now I have these hairless patches on my head.

Growing up, people called me names like paknot, poknat, piso, etc. I can still hear them as I write this blog. My mom and I tried so many ways to cover it up. We made sure I have enough hair to cover the patches. But I was never successful in my attempt to hide it.

My classmates, my busmates, they all asked me what happened. I remember someone asked me, "Bakit di nyo dinemanda?" I just ignored the question and did not answer. At 6, I didn't know what dimanda means.

When puberty started, I had this fixation on pulling strands of hair. Then it was very obvious that there was a significant hair loss around my patches. My mom was alarmed. We went to this hair transplant clinic in Makati. The doctor said the scalp was already covered by the wound. As a remedy, he just gave me a small patch of toupee and a double-sided tape for adhesive.

I sweat a lot. So it didn't help me at all. It's embarrassing to have it but it's more embarrassing when someone calls my attention that my toupee's on my shoulder or on the floor.

I'm now 24. I want to get over it but somehow I'm still haunted by these experiences. I'm not confident having it. All my life, I've been finding ways to hide it -- hair gel, toupee, hair clips... Now I'm asking myself, for how long will I be embarrassed, ashamed, afraid? Will I still be hiding it ten years from now?

I need therapy.

As expected, I was a bit shy knowing that he's a celebrity. But with what I've seen in PDA (plus the 24x7 channel), I had this urge to approach him. He was very approachable. I'm glad to meet him. I just forgot to ask who among the scholars is his bet to win as Grand Star Dreamer.

Doanni and I went to Glorietta 4 and watched "Wall-E." It's not that good. It's quite cute seeing two robots liking each other. But the first part was dull and boring. There's no dialogue or narration. We were asking each other what went wrong cos there was no (or maybe too brief) explanation in the beginning. I'll post a blog sometime this week.

We ate Whopper while watching. Afterward, we had ice cream before leaving at around 6:30pm (in time for PDA gala night - LOL).

But her song is in WMA so she needs to convert it to MP3 before she can open it in Audacity. Now I can't find my MP3 converter. Tsk.

It's Kuya TJ's birthday. We planned to have dinner somewhere else. The first plan was to go to Power Plant (our second home). But we ended up going to Podium and ate in Florabel. I missed Podium! Twas nice to be back. :)

Fans of Academy Award winner Adrien Brody are hoping he could play the part. People are uploading his picture opposite the Joker's famous smile. Same with Crispin Glover who was interested to play the part even before "Batman Begins."

I saw this series I think a couple of years ago on Star World. It's about boys' take on high school pressure and pleasure. It's honest, funny and real. Last month I remembered about this series, which only had 13 episodes in 2004. Sad, really. I started downloading the episodes and I'm down to the last one. I just finished the 5th episode and 6 more to go to finish everything. I want to finish it in one seating but the thought that there will be no follow up to the series saddens me, just like Summerland.

It's a good series. I don't know when would I watch the next episode...

There's no dress code here in our office. Unlike in most offices from Monday to Thursday, you should be in business attire (or at least semi-formal). Here you can go to office in your favorite shirt and jeans then pair it with your expensive Havaianas. But most of the time, guys here are always in shirt-jeans-rubber-shoes combo, right?

Pero nakakasawa din. Two years ago, nagsasawa ako sa polo and slacks. Now I'm starting to miss wearing leather shoes.

I visited JustJared. This is what I like about visiting entertainment sites. You get to see what celebrities wear and how they mix and match their clothes. Surprisingly, these clothings are easy to find here in Manila. It's summer in the US while here... uhm... iba-iba! I bought a hoodie and a shirt two weeks ago in time for rainy season. I planned to wear it today. This morning, it was sunny!!! My goodness.

I had the worst nightmare ever this morning.

It's 3:50am right now and I know I have to document what I saw. I woke up a few minutes ago after several minutes of terror.

In my dream, it was dark. I saw myself sleeping in the couch, in the exact position I was while sleeping this morning. I was aware of my environment. I was aware of the position of my body, my arms, my feet, everything. I was cold and I wanted to pee. But there were two ladies who walked in the living room. They were dressed in some voodoo-ish clothing. One was leading the other lady and their mission was to open my third eye.

It's not opened and I have not intentions of opening it. So they were doing it without my consent. They were rubbing a small stone in different parts of my body starting from my feet, my legs, my hands and my head. They were speaking in English. They were saying I could start seeing things of the paranormal as they were rubbing the small stone in different points in my body. They pressed it on my temples and on my neck so that I can still protect myself from "other forces".

I wanted them to stop but I couldn't. I couldn't open my eyes. Sabi ng matatanda, if you're having a nightmare, you should move your toes. I did that. I was able to move my toes but the dream didn't stop. Then the two suddenly disappeared.

The next thing I saw was the condo adjacent to the chapel here in Eastwood. I'm not sure if it's really that building. But the street that I saw looked like it - no turning left, only turning right. It looked unfinished and it implied that there were deaths in the construction of the buildings in that area. Three-hundred died.

Then I was in the construction. Bodies and bones were all over the place. I was freaked out but no was around. It showed me that the building my look classy and elegant but there may be a dark side behind its beauty. A thought crossed my mind. It was like someone's narrating a story to me. According to stories, onces you're in the building you can no longer go out and you can no longer call for help. "You found your way in. You can find your way out."

Still, I was aware that it was just a dream. It happened so fast. I moved my hands and my feet. I think I opened my eyes a couple of times during that nightmare. But it still continued to haunt and ruin my sleep.

Then I was the psycho. It was like I was being possessed in our condo. I had to be alone. No one should be around when that happens. One night, I was packing my things. I wanted to leave the condo. It was cold. I was panicking. Then a doctor (for some reason there was a doctor) was telling me, "It's happening again. Calm down." So that implied that it already happened before. My sister was sleeping in the couch while I was dressing up and picking up my things. I went to my parents' room. I wanted them to wake up. I even shouted a big roar (like in horror movies) but they didn't wake up. Then I left.

When I left the condo, I faced a maze in the building. There were doors leading to more closed doors. These doors were leading to another roomful of doors. I got lost. The voice I heard was right. I found my way in. I should find my way out. When I opened another door, I saw a black guy entering from another room. He showed me the way out. As far as I can remember he said smiling, "First door leads to... (somewhere); second door leads to outside (the building)." After saying that, he opened a school principal type of door, with a frosted glass. It was bright outside. He went in and the nightmare ended. It wasn't clear which door I picked. And I don't know if he was helping me or if he was a devil's advocate.

I was afraid to open my eyes. What if there's a man drinking coffee beside me? What if the two ladies were standing next to me? What if I can already see ghosts? I was praying Our Father and the Apostle's Creed in my head for several times. While praying The Creed, I found the strength to turn on the lights and stop the horror.

I was alone. There were no ghosts. It was 3:42am. When did the nightmare start? I don't know. All the things I saw in my nightmare were still clear so I opened my Notepad and documented it. And in my head I kept repeating, "Vade retro Satana!" (from Prayer to the Medal of St. Benedict).

What on earth does this nightmare mean?

Rachael Ray, a popular TV host who endorses Dunkin' Donuts is now a headliner because of her TV commercial. Her stylists gave her the outfit for the TVC then the donut brand didn't like it because of the scarf.

According to them it looks life kaffiyeh [kuh-fee-uh], the scarf used by Muslims popularized Yasser Arafat and Khadaffy Janjalani (remember?). They pulled out the TVC to avoid misconception that they're siding with terrorism. Wow! Does it follow? If you have a henna tattoo it doesn't mean you embrace Hinduism. If you're wearing a cheongsam, it doesn't mean you're Chinese!

Clearly they're racists! They don't know that this scarf is already available in online stores. Local broadcasters like Ed Linggao and Abner Mercado also use the scarf. Models use it too. So what's wrong with these people!?

It was a surprise win for David Cook after judge Simon Cowell favored all three performances of David Archuleta. Cowell's comments usually affect the results of the competition especially when he's endorsing someone to win. Cook bested Archuleta by 12 million votes out of 97.5 million votes casted for the final two idols.

Before announcing the winner, Cowell apologized to David Cook saying that he was a bit harsh on his comments the other night. He later on praised the two Davids for a job well done. He added that for the first time he doesn't care who's going to win.

Honestly, I never expected him to be in the finals. I admit, I'm not a fan and I don't see myself buying his CD. Just my two cents.

Smells Like Bleach

Two Saturdays ago, I accomplished my two weekend objectives: to throw my old socks and clean the light switches. I've been planning to clean all the light switches around the house for about a month already. And I admit that I've been very lazy. So one Saturday, I did it. They're really dirty! Sometimes you'd think twice if you'd use your finger or not. And our maids didn't bother to clean them.

After eating lunch, I grabbed a window cleanser, the one with a spray. It's for windows but I guess it has bleach. It smells like bleach with a little scent for commercial fragrance. Then I saw a green colored scrub (not ScotchBrite, btw). Just imagine scrubbing the smugged black dirt that only God knows what! 0_o I enjoyed every moment of it especially wiping out the dirt!

Who said I'm not helping out at home? ;)

I'm reviewing two indie movies that caught my attention a few months ago. The first movie is "Paranoid Park". I saw its trailer at apple.com/trailers and the premise was interesting. It tells about a young skater who accidentally killed a security guard. Hmmm... sounds like Mean Creek to me.

My brother, sister and I are fans of Smallville. We started watching it I think in 2003 along with One Tree Hill. Now, there's a shocking news that the series' eighth season might be the last. Michael Rosenbaum is leaving the pre-Superman saga after seven seasons playing Clark Kent's best-friend-turned-enemy, Lex Luthor. There will be new villains on the upcoming series finale.

The show may be monotonous. They kept on dealing with meteor freaks... Chloe has all the answers in the world and she may be the best researcher in the planet as well... Lana's always unsure of her feelings for Clark... blah-blah-blah... Clark saves his family, friends, victims, strangers, everyone and remains victorious before the closing credits... It's almost like that in every episode but what I will miss about the show is their story as friends.

I remember when Chloe had feelings for Clark. I felt sorry for her knowing that she's just Clark's best friend, nothing more. ü I'll miss the two Luthors who are neither allies nor enemies! Hehehe... There are a lot of highlights in the whole series.
